Internal appointment for new Southern Cross Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Southern Cross Health Insurance has announced the appointment of Regan Savage to the role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
The appointment follows the resignation of Kerry Boielle, who will join TSB as its new Chief Executive in January.
Recognising the strength of talent within Southern Cross Health Insurance, Nick Astwick, CEO, said the focus in the search for Boielle’s replacement was to look internally.
Savage joined Southern Cross three years ago as Head of Marketing, following senior leadership roles at Trade Me and Kiwibank, and overseeing the Unite Against Covid-19 public engagement programme.
“At Southern Cross, Regan is well-known for his critical thinking and strategic approach. He has the vital mix of skills and experience to lead our Sales and Marketing team to continued success and drive our member centric strategy,” said Astwick.
“Regan has been instrumental, alongside his team, in developing the Southern Cross brand and has played a significant role in introducing our member wellbeing benefits, including Raise counselling or wellbeing coaching, CareHQ online GP consultations, and MedPro health checks.”
Acknowledging the contribution of Kerry Boielle, Astwick added, “I’d like to thank Kerry for her exemplary leadership and for the strong position she leaves us in as she departs to take up her exciting new role.”
