Reporting concerns

At Southern Cross, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. We rely on our employees, members, providers, partners and other stakeholders to help us uphold these standards.

If you have concerns about potential misconduct, fraudulent activity, violations of our policies or code of conduct, or any behaviour that may compromise the integrity of Southern Cross, we strongly encourage you to report these matters through our confidential reporting channels.

  • Address issues promptly and effectively.

What to report

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Breaches of laws, regulations, or internal policies.
  • Data and privacy breaches (e.g. unauthorised access to sensitive information).
  • Ethical violations (e.g. abuse of authority or power, misuse of resources).
  • Financial misconduct (e.g. fraud, falsification of financial records).
  • Harassment and discrimination (e.g. bullying, racial discrimination).
  • Non-financial misconduct (e.g. forgery, inappropriate alteration of legitimate documents).

How to report

Southern Cross has engaged an external service provider to provide an avenue for our stakeholders to confidentially and anonymously report concerns. You can contact this provider either by:

Concerns received via this channel remain confidential and are sent to directly to Southern Cross’ Head of Risk, Legal and Regulatory Affairs for assessment and/or investigation under privilege.

Our existing customers or members and treatment providers have an additional option to complete our internal online Suspicious Activity Form for fraud or dishonesty-type concerns.
