Can I add an excess to my policy?
You can only add an excess to our Wellbeing One or Two plans. You can choose to add an excess of $500, $1,000, $2,000 or $4,000. Alternatively, if you take out a KiwiCare Budget or RegularCare Budget plan, these include a $500 excess. Excesses are applied per person, per claims year, which means your excess amount will be deducted from your first and any subsequent claims until the total amount has been reached.
