What is the 6 month rule?
Under the Wellbeing Starter and Wellbeing One plans, cover is only available for consultations, diagnostic tests and imaging if they take place within 6 months of eligible surgical treatment or cancer care.
There are also recovery benefits on all plans (eg post-operative physiotherapy) that can only be claimed if they take place within 6 months of an eligible related surgery or cancer care.
