When do I need to request prior approval?
You should contact us for prior approval unless you are using an Affiliated Provider. This should be done at least 5 working days prior to the healthcare service being provided.
If your healthcare service is through an Affiliated Provider, you don’t need to request prior approval as they organise this with us on your behalf. You can check Healthcare finder to see if your provider is an Affiliated Provider or get in touch with them to confirm.
