Why don't you cover some healthcare services and health technologies?
A healthcare service may not be covered by Southern Cross because it's not been assessed for cover by Southern Cross, or Southern Cross has assessed the healthcare service and has made the decision to exclude cover.
We regularly assess new health technologies against our guidelines to make decisions about what cover may be added to our policies. Primarily we aim to ensure that there is a clinical benefit to our members, at an acceptable cost, in order to add cover for new health technology.
